This position leads Banneker’s entire development business, including building the Real Estate Development Division to ensure that the firm has robust deal volume, high quality product, and financial success.  Candidates must have proven leadership capabilities to lead and manage staff as well as lead, manage, and coordinate the development of multi-family, mixed-use residential and commercial real estate transactions.  Experience structuring deals using LIHTC equity is required. This role requires a Bachelors degree in Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field. A Master's degree is strongly preferred. In addition to a strong academic background, the role requires a minimum of 10 years experience with a proven track record of managing the all-inclusive-development process - from land acquisition, site control, closing, programming, financial analysis/feasibility, securing entitlements, project design, and project management. Candidates must also have at least 5 years in an Executive role demonstrating a proven ability to build and sustain successful teams as well as highlight completed development projects.
